    JN Le Junter

Jean-Noël Le Junter studied in Clermont-Ferrand before leaving for other places (Scotland, Great Britain, United States, Normandy and since 1992 the Hérault). His favorite themes are the landscapes and ports of the South of France, nudes, bulls, Sevillian dancers and portraits. whether landscapes, seascapes, portraits, nudes, ... JN Le Junter always starts - on the ground or from a model - by preparatory sketches and watercolors that allow him to work then in oil in his studio ... He is interested more in the atmosphere than in reality and seeks to transcribe sensations, a ''feeling'', while trying to ''simplify'' this reality in order to retain only the essentials and giving priority to color.'' (Jouvène Gallery, Marseille)
His works appear in several art books. The most recent: Peintres et Couleurs du Salagou (2017); Le Grand Montpellier et ses peintres (2018); Peintres de la Garrigue, des Cévennes et des Causses (2019); Peintres du Golfe du Lion (2020)
He has exhibited his work many times in France, Great Britain, Germany, Greece and the United States.
