Some thirty people from the same family learn that they are to inherit a house that has been abandoned for years. Four of them, Seb, Abdel, Céline and Guy, are tasked with taking stock of the property. These distant "cousins" discover hidden treasures in the old house. They find themselves on the trail of a mysterious Adèle, who left her native Normandy at the age of 20. This Adèle finds herself in Paris in 1895, at a time when the city is in the midst of an industrial and cultural revolution.
