Duo Mar is made up of two musicians from the Perpignan region.
After working for several years with singer Olivia Ruiz, accordionist Cécile
Camarasa crossed paths with singer-musician Olivier Martinez, leader of the group Kanélé,
a word music group tinged with rumba and flamenco.
After an artistic collaboration on the track Gipsy Road, they formed the Duo Mar.
Mar as in the sea, which is never far away, as this blend of guitar and accordion vocals has accents of the
Of the Mediterranean. A warm, powerful voice that breathes the South, an accordion chameleon that wanders between cumbia and French chanson.
On stage, the energy is simple and effective, and the covers are dressed in a raw, unadorned blend,
a complicity that takes us on a journey to the sun.
For the occasion, they are joined on percussion and cajon by François "Fanfan" Miniconi,
known for his work with Antoine Tato Garcia, among others,
