Nicole Thevenot
I am a member of the Chamalièrois Artists since my return to Auvergne after a few years spent in the south where I took courses at the faculty of Aix en Provence for 6 years.

I interpret femininity by taking care of lines and curves. I am fascinated by flowers, in particular by the very ephemeral poppy that I try to translate in my own way. I work with oil paint with a knife, I find this technique very spontaneous. The work of the material allows me to express myself in volume.

I paint at home, in my studio, according to my desires of creation because painting remains above all a passion.

I am particularly fond of multicolored bouquets, fashion shows and very stylized urban landscapes and seascapes

I have presented my work in different exhibitions in Provence and in Auvergne.

I obtained in
- 2015 the 2nd price of oil painting of the Artists Chamalièrois
- 2022 the 1st price of oil painting to the Artists Chamalièrois

Pierre Thevenot
I started to draw and paint in 2005 at the University of Aix en Provence, where I learned during 6 years the different techniques of oil painting.

Then I joined the "Artistes Indépendants Aixois"
Arrived in Auvergne in 2013, I am part of the Artists Chamalièrois.
I paint at home in my studio.

Inspired by the bright and intense colors, I paint according to my desires, a contemporary painting, modern and very colorful.

My favorite subjects are landscapes that I revisit in a very refined way and with bright and warm colors, seascapes that make you travel, bouquets that brighten up the imagination and jazz scenes.

I have presented my work in various group exhibitions in Aix en Provence, Clermont Ferrand and Chamalières where I obtained in 2017 the 1st prize of the jury of the Martes sur Morge and in 2019 the 1st prize of painting to the Artists Chamalièrois,

Philippe Morel

Self-taught painter, member of the association of the Artists of Chamalières, I practise mainly the oil painting, but also the pastel.


Figurative painter, essentially landscape. I do not seek veracity but an atmosphere, a mood. I find in the bend of a path a light, a harmony of colors or a graphic structure. Adapting my touch to the subject, I can work with flat tints or on the contrary with folded colors. My painting inspires calm, tranquility

I have participated for several years in group exhibitions organized by the Chamaliérois Artists and by ORACLE, in Clermont -Ferrand, Chamalières and many other municipalities in the region, in which I have obtained several awards. In 2017 I obtained the Camille Vigouroux prize awarded by the Academy of Sciences, Belles-Lettres and Arts during the Auvergne Artists' Exhibition. In 2021 the jury prize at the exhibition "Images et regards d'ailleurs" organized by ORACLE;
